A clean and modern five unit development in the heart of Onehunga, needed a great architectural, low maintenance landscape design plan and planting plan set (for resource consent design completed in 2020).
The contemporary architecture required us to apply a stylish and impactful landscape design and planting plan to soften the building and minimise the visual impact from the road view.
City living at its best, it features easy site circulation and navigation, privacy, and an appealing mix of low maintenance native, exotic and edible vegetation. The green space includes aesthetic and functional elements, and the hardscaped areas a mix of permeable and impermeable surfaces.
The design process required collaborating with the developer, architect Steve King at Archimedia, and planners Cato Bolam, to ensure all landscape elements met the requirements.
The early consideration of the landscaping budget was also met, and our clients are happy that the development looks great!
